The Tinkering of a Trapper

Olson's Northern Fur

From the very start of trapping, you soon realize you have two options. Option (A) pay a boat load of money on supplies, traps, and tools. Option (B) learn how to make your own version of what you need. This is a very common trade amongst trappers as modifying your traps is a regular task. Now you can mostly buy traps that are pretty much ready for the dirt, but some brands of traps need some adjusting. In this video I'm assembling earth anchors for my bobcat and coyote line. I figured I would be able to save some money building these myself but in reality, I spent 10 cents more per unit. Regardless it's good to know you have a quality product. Happy Trapping Everyone!
